Based in Bristol and working across the UK and beyond, ParkerJones Acoustics are one of the country’s newest but most proactive and diligent acoustic consultancy practices.

What do we do?
We provide acoustic consultancy to all types of projects from planning stage, through detailed design to construction and handover.
Whether it be a noise survey/noise assessment for an industrial facility, sound insulation and room acoustic design for a residential development, or construction noise and vibration monitoring. If it’s related to acoustics or noise, a ParkerJones Acoustics consultant will be able to help.
We provide acoustic design services across all built environment sectors and industries, combining our extensive knowledge in building acoustics design and environmental noise assessments with a drive and a passion to deliver a second-to-none service.
Who are we?
Founded by our director Chris Parker-Jones, his passion and knowledge is the driving force behind ParkerJones Acoustics.
With nearly 10 years experience in building and environmental acoustics with MACH Acoustics and SLR Consulting respectively, Chris has amassed a wide range of experience as a lead consultant, as well as taking on partial roles in software development, business development, and R&D. Chris is highly resourceful with a general knack of knowing what needs to be done, and getting it done well.
In his spare time, Chris is a keen runner, and has been known to complete marathons in dinosaur costumes for charity…
Our Story
Established in 2019, ParkerJones Acoustics may not have been around that long, but make no mistake, we’re highly competent and effective. Our head office is in Bristol, with secondary offices in London and Glasgow.
As an alternative to the big multi-disciplinary, we might small, but we’re very capable. Our abilities enable us to take on the ‘big company’ projects and still deliver a high quality service.

Acoustic Consultancy - Behind the 'dark art'
We feel it important to communicate acoustic design concepts simply and effectively. That’s why our acoustic reports are clear and easy to follow, you don’t have to be a noise expert to make sense of them! We also regularly publish articles delving into the ‘dark art’ of acoustic consultancy. These are primarily written for non acoustic consultants, keeping it light on jargon and getting to the principles of acoustic design.
